Motus began in the rugged landscapes of Utah — a place where outdoor adventure is a way of life. After seeing the limitations traditional wheelchairs placed on people we love, we built something different: an off-road wheelchair innovation that could truly go anywhere.
From those early prototypes to national impact, we’ve grown a community of users who are proving every day that mobility solutions for disabilities can be more than functional — they can be transformational.

Sam & Ryan have been sharing their adventures in the Extreme Motus All-Terrain Wheelchair since 2019. From National Parks to State Parks to Skateparks, they have shown the world that nature is wheelchair accessible.

Ryan's number one goal when working with Sam is to keep him laughing, which is easy because Sam laughs at almost everything. If you're having a bad day, hanging out with Sam physically or virtually will cheer you up every time.
