At Extreme Motus, we offer three different sizes of all-terrain wheelchairs. The only difference between these sizes is the seat width:

  • Large – 18″ wide
  • Medium – 16″ wide
  • Small – 14″ wide

Sam, who stars in many of our videos, uses a medium-sized wheelchair. He is approximately 5′1″ tall and weighs 85 pounds. Comparing your size to Sam’s is a great starting point.

Consider the rider’s age as well. If they are Sam’s size but still growing (e.g., a 10-year-old), it’s best to size up to a large to ensure they don’t outgrow the chair. You can add padding like blankets, towels, pool noodles, or foam to make a larger size work for smaller riders, providing peace of mind for future growth.

The large pannier is a storage bag that hangs on the back of the seat, offering convenient storage for personal items.

The extra-long option adds 5 inches to the chair’s length when the footrest is extended. When folded for storage, the chair remains the same size.

Contact us using our contact form or email us. Let us know your city, and we’ll check if there are any dealers or customers nearby to arrange a Motus Meetup.

If you purchase a chair without testing it, we offer a 30-day return policy. If the chair doesn’t work for you, you can return it, but you will need to cover shipping costs both ways.

Support The Mission!

A Journey Born in Utah. Powered by Purpose.

Motus began in the rugged landscapes of Utah. A place where outdoor adventure is a way of life. After seeing the limitations traditional wheelchairs placed on people we love, we built something different: an off-road wheelchair innovation that could truly go anywhere.

From those early prototypes to national impact, we’ve grown a community of users who are proving every day that mobility solutions for disabilities can be more than functional, they can be transformational.
